Monitor statutory, regulatory, and internal policy obligations across the Group and its subsidiaries to identify gaps and drive improvements.
Maintain up-to-date compliance registers and documentation to ensure absolute audit readiness.
Monitoring, Review & Reporting: Proactively monitor compliance adherence, investigate potential breaches, and conduct root cause analysis.
Track the implementation of remedial actions and ensure sustainable resolution of any compliance issues.
Prepare clear, accurate, and insightful compliance dashboards and reports for Management, relevant committees, and the Board of Directors.
Regulatory & Stakeholder Engagement: Serve as a key liaison with regulatory authorities, external auditors, and stakeholders on all compliance matters.
Support the preparation and accurate submission of regulatory filings and audit documentation within stipulated deadlines.
Advisory & Regulatory Intelligence: Act as a trusted advisor to Management and business units, interpreting complex regulatory requirements into practical operational controls.
Monitor emerging regulatory developments and assess their potential impact on the company's strategic activities.
Awareness & Culture Building: Champion a risk-aware and ethical culture by planning and delivering compliance training and awareness programs across all levels of the organization.
Key Requirements
Education: Bachelor's degree in Law, Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Governance, Risk & Compliance, or a related discipline. Professional certifications (e.g., CGRC, ICA, ICSA, or equivalent) will be a strong added advantage.
Experience: Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience in corporate compliance, governance, audit, or regulatory-related roles. You must have hands-on experience in compliance monitoring and regulatory reporting.
Technical Skills: Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex regulations and translate them into actionable internal policies.
Soft Skills: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. You must possess the ability to influence and ensure consistent compliance implementation across various divisions, even without direct authority.
Attributes: A proactive, detail-oriented professional who thrives under tight timelines and can seamlessly balance stakeholder relationships with enforcement duties.
