About the Company I am partnering with a forward-thinking design and engineering firm known for delivering high-quality architectural and infrastructure projects. They are heavily invested in technology, sustainability, and modern Virtual Design and Construction (VDC) workflows. The company culture is highly collaborative, stability-focused, and committed to helping their technical staff stay ahead of industry trends.
About the Job I am looking for a BIM Modeler who will bridge traditional CAD drafting with advanced 3D BIM coordination. In this role, you will work closely with architects, engineers, and project leads to transform 2D concepts into detailed, clash-free models and production drawings.
- Modeling & Drafting: Create detailed parametric models (Revit/Navisworks) and precise 2D technical drawings (AutoCAD) across concept through construction documentation phases.
- CAD-to-BIM Integration: Convert, link, and clean legacy AutoCAD DWGs within the BIM environment while meeting specified LOD (Level of Development) requirements.
- Clash Coordination: Run spatial coordination checks, identify interdisciplinary conflicts early, and work with design teams to resolve clashes.
- Documentation & Standards: Extract clean construction drawings, material schedules, and details directly from models while ensuring strict adherence to project CAD/BIM standards.
- File Management: Maintain overall model health, manage Xrefs and linked files, and coordinate data sharing through Common Data Environments (CDE).
About the Manager / Team You will be joining an established VDC and drafting team led by a supportive BIM Manager who prioritizes mentorship, smart workflows, and career progression. The team culture is open, low-ego, and focused on practical problem-solving—whether that means perfecting custom AutoCAD details or streamlining Revit templates. It is an ideal environment if you want your technical skills to be directly recognized and valued.
