Job Summary
We are seeking a relationship-driven Client Coverage Manager to manage and grow a portfolio of corporate clients. The role is responsible for building long-term client relationships, understanding clients’ financing and banking needs, and delivering tailored financial solutions by working closely with internal product partners.
The successful candidate will serve as the primary relationship manager, driving client engagement, revenue growth, and cross-selling opportunities while maintaining a high standard of risk awareness and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and develop relationships with a portfolio of corporate and commercial clients.
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients, understanding their business strategies, financial requirements, and growth plans.
- Identify opportunities to deepen client relationships through appropriate banking and financial solutions.
- Collaborate with internal product specialists across Cash Management, Trade Finance, Treasury, FX, Capital Markets, Transaction Banking, and Lending to deliver integrated solutions.
- Prepare client proposals, presentations, credit papers, and relationship reviews.
- Conduct regular client meetings to understand changing business needs and market developments.
- Monitor client profitability, portfolio performance, and revenue targets.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and KYC/AML standards.
- Work closely with Risk, Credit, Operations, Legal, and Compliance teams throughout the deal execution process.
- Stay informed of industry trends, market developments, and competitive landscape to provide strategic insights to clients.
- Support new client acquisition through networking, referrals, and business development activities.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Banking, Economics, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- 5–10 years of experience in Corporate Banking, Commercial Banking, Relationship Management, Client Coverage, or Financial Institutions.
- Strong understanding of corporate banking products and financial markets.
- Experience managing corporate client relationships and delivering financial solutions.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to analyse financial statements and understand clients’ business models.
- Strong commercial acumen with a client-centric mindset.
- Proven ability to collaborate across multiple internal stakeholders.
- Excellent presentation and relationship-building skills.
- Experience covering large local corporates, GLC , multinational corporations (MNCs), or financial institution clients.
- Exposure to Transaction Banking, Cash Management, Treasury, Trade Finance, Syndicated Loans, or Capital Markets products.
- Familiarity with credit processes and risk assessment.
- Established corporate network would be an advantage.
