about the job
We are looking for an experienced Cloud Security Architect to provide security architecture expertise across cloud, applications, workloads, containers and cloud-native technologies.
You will design and validate secure cloud architectures across multi-cloud and hybrid environments, embedding security controls throughout applications, workloads, containers, CI/CD pipelines and DevSecOps practices.
You will work closely with Cloud, DevOps, Development, Infrastructure and Cybersecurity teams to establish secure-by-design architectures, security baselines and scalable security controls.
The role will also involve:
- Designing and validating Cloud Security Architecture
- Integrating Application Security and Container Security
- Embedding security controls into CI/CD and DevSecOps pipelines
- Conducting cloud security posture and risk assessments
- Defining security requirements, controls and architecture standards
- Supporting Zero Trust and technology modernisation initiatives
- Evaluating cloud security and application security solutions
- Advising stakeholders on secure architecture and technology decisions
- Identifying and mitigating cloud, application and DevSecOps risks
- Ensuring security controls are embedded from design through deployment
- Working across multi-cloud and hybrid environments
- Driving security automation and secure development practices
This is a senior architecture position requiring someone who can combine hands-on technical expertise with architecture governance, risk management and stakeholder advisory capabilities.
about the manager/team
You will join an enterprise-level Cybersecurity / Cloud Security architecture function, working closely with Cloud, Application Development, DevOps, Infrastructure, Enterprise Architecture and Technology teams.
The team is responsible for strengthening secure-by-design practices across cloud transformation and modern application delivery.
The ideal candidate should be comfortable operating as a security subject matter expert and trusted advisor, influencing technical teams and senior stakeholders while driving adoption of secure architecture standards.
