About the Role
Position: Chief Operating Officer (COO)
Employment Term: 2+1 year contract (renewable)
We are seeking a dynamic and commercially driven Chief Operating Officer (COO) to spearhead operational excellence and scalability across the organisation. This role will be instrumental in driving execution as the business transitions from traditional infrastructure services to higher-margin, AI-powered and managed service offerings.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and optimise operations across Cloud, Cybersecurity, and AI business units to drive efficiency and profitability
- Oversee end-to-end delivery of large-scale ICT and digital transformation projects for GLCs and Tier-1 enterprise clients
- Own and manage operational P&L, ensuring effective cost control and resource allocation across a multi-vendor ecosystem
- Drive organisational agility, process improvement, and scalable operating models aligned with business strategy
Key Requirements
- Demonstrated leadership experience within the ICT, technology, or Systems Integration industry
- Proven track record in transforming or evolving business models within established organisations
- Strong understanding of the Malaysian technology ecosystem and enterprise landscape
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Business, or a related field; MBA or equivalent is an added advantage here
