key responsibilities:

Data Visualization & Reporting: Design, build, and maintain interactive and user-friendly dashboards using Power BI or Tableau to track KPIs and business metrics.
Data Warehousing: Query, organize, and analyze large datasets within our Data Warehouse (e.g., Snowflake, Redshift, or BigQuery) to extract meaningful business insights.
ETL & Data Pipeline Management: Collaborate with data engineers to design, build, and troubleshoot ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) workflows, ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and timely updates.
Advanced SQL Analysis: Write complex, optimized SQL queries to clean, transform, and aggregate data for ad-hoc analysis and automated reporting.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with stakeholders in [Marketing, Sales, Finance, Product, etc.] to gather reporting requirements, define business logic, and translate business needs into technical data solutions.
Data Quality Assurance: Identify data anomalies, investigate root causes, and implement solutions to maintain a high standard of data integrity across all reporting systems.

requirements:

Experience: 3+ years of proven experience in a Data Analyst, Business Intelligence Analyst, or similar role.
Data Visualization: Expert-level proficiency in Power BI or Tableau, with a strong portfolio of dashboards demonstrating best practices in visual analytics.
Database & SQL: Advanced SQL skills with deep experience querying and manipulating data within relational databases and Data Warehouses.
ETL Knowledge: Hands-on experience working with ETL/ELT processes and tools (e.g., dbt, Airflow, Fivetran, or custom scripts). You must understand how data is moved, transformed, and modeled.
Analytical Thinking: Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to translate complex data sets into clear, actionable business recommendations.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

nice to haves:

Familiarity with cloud data warehouses such as Snowflake, Amazon Redshift, or Google BigQuery.
Experience with Python or R for data analysis and automation.
Understanding of dimensional data modeling (e.g., star schemas).
