About the Company
Randstad Malaysia is partnering exclusively with a retail company located at Batu Kawan, Penang.
We are seeking a commercially astute, hands-on, and strategic Finance Manager to lead the finance operations, guide a dedicated team, and support the business in its next phase of operational excellence.
The Role & Key Responsibilities
Reporting directly to the General Manager, you will oversee the full spectrum of financial management, accounting, and compliance for the mall's operations.
Your core responsibilities will include:
Financial & Management Reporting: Lead the timely and accurate closing of monthly, quarterly, and annual accounts, delivering high-quality management reports to senior leadership.
Tenant Accounting & Credit Control: Oversee tenant sales audits, gross turnover (GTO) calculations, billing, and credit control functions to ensure optimal cash flow and rental collections.
Cash Flow & Budgeting: Manage the group’s cash flow forecasting, working capital, and take charge of the annual budgeting process and monthly variance analysis.
Requirements & Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you should possess:
Education: A Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance. Professional qualification (MIA, ACCA, CPA, or CIMA) is a strong advantage.
Experience: Minimum of 5 to 8 years of financial accounting experience, with at least 2 to 3 years in a supervisory or managerial capacity.
Location: Must be based in or willing to commute to Batu Kawan, Penang.
