Direct a international group of supply chain specialists to oversee the complete lifecycle of connection components and assembly portfolios.
Execute comprehensive contract discussions with global distributors and manufacturing partners to lock in optimal commercial pricing and frameworks.
Design corporate cost-management guidelines and implement supply chain agility programs to safeguard business continuity against market risks.
Employ technical costing tools and deep-dive analytics to evaluate sub-tier vendor financial models and enforce ongoing expenditure reductions.
Partner closely with internal engineering and design units to pinpoint technical substitute sourcing and alternate component opportunities.
skills needed
- Comprehensive knowledge of global marketplace conditions for interconnect commodities; deeply well-versed in industry pricing, supply/demand dynamics, and emerging technologies (including high-speed, miniaturization, and harsh-environment applications).
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to understand complex business environments and align procurement processes directly with the technical design, application, and performance requirements of interconnect solutions.
- Hands-on or strong theoretical knowledge of core manufacturing methodologies including metal stamping, extrusion, plating, painting, plastic injection molding, and over-molding processes as well as familiarity with statistical tools and raw material cost optimization.
- A proven track record of leading, managing, and closing highly complex, multi-million-dollar commercial negotiations with global interconnect manufacturers and distributors.
