about the job
Hands-on Operations: Drive daily operational vendor workflows. This is an active, execution-focused role where you will manage regular processes and solve problems directly alongside your team.
Vendor Onboarding: Build, maintain, and continuously streamline the end-to-end vendor onboarding process for seamless business integration.
Risk & Financial Compliance: Conduct rigorous due diligence on potential and current partners. You will actively evaluate vendor financial status, bankruptcy/solvency risks, overall financial compliance, and Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) criteria.
Vendor Auditing: Establish frameworks for, schedule, and execute regular vendor audits to ensure continuous alignment with company standards, quality control, and regulatory compliance.
Team Leadership: Manage, mentor, and develop a small operational team, fostering a culture of accountability and excellence.

You will be reporting directly to the Head of Procurement, a strategic leader with extensive experience in vendor governance and supply chain optimization.
skills and experience required
Proven experience in Vendor Management, Procurement Compliance, or a heavily operational supply chain role.
Strong, demonstrable experience in vendor financial analysis, bankruptcy checking, and compliance tracking.
Solid understanding of evaluating ESG criteria within vendor management.
Experience planning and executing structured vendor audits.
