about the company
Randstad is exclusively partnering with a dynamic and growing regional organization with diverse business interests, including trading, management consultancy, and investment management. As their business footprint continues to expand across Singapore, Malaysia, and Indonesia, they are seeking a highly driven Group Finance Manager to ensure rigorous financial discipline and operational excellence across the group.
about the role

This is a highly operationally intensive, hands-on role rather than a purely strategic one. You will take full charge of group consolidation, oversee regional finance compliance, and ensure strict process discipline across multiple subsidiaries.
Key Responsibilities
- Group Consolidation & Reporting: Drive the timely and accurate preparation of consolidated financial reports. Review monthly management reports and financial highlights, ensuring strict adherence to tight reporting timelines by all subsidiary companies.
- Regional Oversight & Leadership: Oversee the daily work of 3 Accounts Executives to ensure the accuracy of accounting entries. Review Accounts Payable (AP) from regional subsidiaries (Malaysia and Indonesia) and enforce strict compliance with established finance SOPs.
- Audit & Regulatory Readiness: Coordinate the year-end audit process and meticulously check audited financial statements for both Singapore and Malaysia entities. Assist in reviewing tax returns to ensure full regulatory compliance.
- Treasury & Intercompany Operations: Reconcile complex intercompany balances between subsidiary companies. Review and strategically restructure loan agreements between subsidiaries.
- Process Optimization & Budgeting: Prepare annual budgets and forecasts. Continually review, streamline, and enhance accounting policies and procedures to improve productivity and information quality.
- Special Projects: Support the group in targeted financial project assignments related to investments, tax planning, and legal compliance as required.
Key Requirements
- Qualifications: Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Accounting. A Certified Public Accountant (CPA) qualification is highly preferred.
- Experience: Minimum 8 years of robust accounting experience. Candidates with at least 2 years of experience in fast-paced industries (such as trading, management consultancy, investment management, or private equity) will have a distinct advantage.
- Core Capabilities: Strong, proven track record in Group Consolidation and Regional Finance Oversight.
- Attributes: A fast-paced team player with strong leadership qualities who is self-motivated and capable of working independently under tight deadlines. Meticulous, analytical, and possesses excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
