the job

• Implement and enforce the Halal Assurance System (HAS) across all operations, maintaining continuous compliance with JAKIM, JHEAINS, DVS, MOH, and state Islamic regulations.
• Lead internal Halal audits, chair Halal Committee meetings, and coordinate certification applications, renewals, and authority inspections alongside external Halal consultants.
• Oversee daily production, facility operations, and equipment maintenance to ensure strict adherence to Good Hygiene and Halal Practices (GHHP) and Halal Critical Control Points.
• Manage production scheduling, workforce allocation, and inventory levels for raw materials and packaging to fulfill customer orders efficiently.
• Maintain complete documentation, sanitation records, and audit trails while preparing compliance and operational performance reports for management.
• Drive continuous improvement, cost optimization, and waste management, while delivering Halal awareness and hygiene training programs to factory staff.

the experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in Halal Management, Islamic Studies, Food Science, Food Technology, or a related discipline.
• Certified Halal Executive (recognized by HPB / JAKIM).
• 2–4 years of hands-on experience in Halal assurance within livestock, or food manufacturing industries.
