Randstad is representing a premier international school in Malaysia looking for an experienced Head of Primary School. This is a member of the School Leadership Team, primarily concerned with planning and overseeing the development and implementation of the school’s administrative systems,policies and procedures and management of resources that supports teaching and learning.

about the job

• Serve as an active member of the School Leadership Team (SALT), directly supervising Key Stage Leaders, conducting teacher appraisals, and setting challenging professional development objectives.

• Maintain a teaching load of no less than 8 hours per week, serving as an exceptional classroom role model who promotes 21st-century teaching strategies, methodology, and technology.

• Plan and execute comprehensive pastoral care, discipline, and student behavior policies, while coordinating a cost-efficient co-curricular and enrichment program with rigorous risk assessments.

• Oversee day-to-day school operations to ensure the daily program runs smoothly using a well-managed timetable schedule, while leading the induction of newly appointed teaching staff

skills and requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field.

• A recognized teaching qualification such as a PGCE is preferred.

• Experience in curriculum development, budget management, and implementing comprehensive administrative procedures.

• Ability to connect warmly with internal and external stakeholders, including parents and external service providers.
