about the job
- Design Leadership: Lead the architectural design, master planning, façade development, and internal space optimization for state-of-the-art data center facilities.
- Technical Integration: Seamlessly integrate civil works (site grading, drainage, roads) and collaborate closely with structural and MEP teams to deliver high-performance infrastructure.
- Standards & Compliance: Ensure all designs align with mission-critical standards (e.g., Uptime Tier III/IV, TIA-942) and comply with local building codes, zoning laws, and sustainability metrics (Green Mark, LEED).
- Project Delivery: Support new builds, expansion projects, and retrofits by reviewing contractor submissions, managing external consultants, and conducting site inspections to maintain design intent.
- Stakeholder Management: Manage relationships with external architects, contractors, and regulatory authorities while presenting design concepts to internal leadership.
skills & experience required
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline. Registered Architect (Part 3) status or LEED/Green Mark certifications will be highly advantageous.
- Minimum of 10+ years in architecture design , with at least 5 years dedicated to data centers, hyperscale facilities, or mission-critical environments.
- Proven experience handling large-scale infrastructure projects across APAC
- Strong command of design tools such as AutoCAD, Revit/BIM, and SketchUp. Deep knowledge of security zoning, airflow containment, and building systems.
- Exceptional communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder coordination skills, with the ability to thrive in high-pressure, uptime-critical environments.
