about the job
In this pivotal leadership role, you will lead the end-to-end strategic development and master planning of major property development projects from inception through to delivery.
- Oversee all operational phases of development including design management, budgeting, implementation, and handover across multiple divisions.
- Appoint and manage external architectural and design consultants to build functional infrastructure plans and master layouts.
- Coordinate layout submissions and build positive relationships with local authorities and technical service providers to secure planning permissions.
- Direct construction tender administration and contract management processes while ensuring adherence to internal corporate governance guidelines.
- Supervise quality control assessments and manage the final post-construction resolution of defect periods for property purchasers.
skills and experience required
- Degree in Architecture, Civil engineering, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 18 years of working experience in property development or township planning, with a proven track record in a senior leadership function. Proven leadership and experience working with developers.
- Strong market knowledge for the Johor market & West Malaysian market.
