about the job
As a Project Manager (Interior Design), you will be the bridge between creative vision and flawless execution. You will oversee premium ID projects from inception through to handover, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and up to our uncompromising quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
... Project Execution & Supervision: Lead and manage the full lifecycle of high-end ID fitting-out projects. Supervise site progress, coordinate workflows, and ensure alignment with approved design intents.
Timeline & Budget Control: Develop master project schedules, monitor milestones, manage project costing, and implement strict quality control measures to minimize variations and delays.
Contractor & Vendor Management: Source, negotiate with, and manage main contractors, sub-contractors, and specialized vendors, ensuring high-quality craftsmanship and compliance with safety regulations.
Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, consultants, and internal design teams, providing regular progress updates and resolving site issues diplomatically.
Compliance: Ensure all site activities comply with local authority regulations, building management guidelines, and safety standards in Malaysia.
Requirements:
Diploma or Degree in Interior Design, Architecture, Construction Management, or a related field.
At least 4–6 years of project management experience specifically within the ID/Fit-out industry in Malaysia.
Strong knowledge of local materials, detailing, construction methods, and authority submission processes.
Excellent leadership, negotiation, and problem-solving skills with a sharp eye for detail.
Fluency in English and Bahasa Malaysia (the ability to speak Mandarin or local dialects is a strong advantage for site/vendor coordination).
