the job

• Oversee and manage daily QC laboratory operations, ensuring efficiency, consistency, and compliance with quality standards.
• Lead and guide the QC lab team in maintaining the quality of raw materials and finished products.
• Drive resolution of quality issues through investigation, root cause analysis, and implementation of corrective actions.
• Serve as a key contact for quality-related matters, ensuring timely communication and effective issue resolution.
• Ensure all laboratory testing, evaluation, and product release activities meet defined specifications and requirements.
• Provide technical support on quality and laboratory-related challenges, including troubleshooting and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Support regulatory compliance and maintain accurate quality documentation in line with internal and external standards.
• Coordinate audits and sustain QC laboratory systems, promoting continuous improvement and adherence to safety and operational policies.

the experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering or a related discipline
• Minimum 5 years of experience in QC laboratory, with at least 3 years in a managerial role within related industry
• Strong knowledge of quality and compliance standards, including ISO 9001, ISO 14001, GMP, and HALAL requirements
• Well-developed olfactory and sensory evaluation skills
• Proven leadership abilities with strong team management and decision-making skills
