about the job
We are looking for a Security Architect (Pre-Sales) to join an experienced cybersecurity consulting team. This role combines strong technical expertise with customer-facing engagement, where you'll work closely with enterprise clients to design and recommend cybersecurity solutions that address business challenges and security risks.
You will lead technical discussions throughout the sales cycle, from requirements gathering and solution architecture to proposal development, product demonstrations and Proof of Concept (POC) activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Design enterprise cybersecurity solutions across Network Security, Cloud Security, Endpoint Security and Identity Security.
- Conduct customer requirement gathering and provide technical consultancy.
- Develop solution architectures aligned with business and operational requirements.
- Prepare technical proposals, Bills of Materials (BOM), Statements of Work (SOW) and solution documentation.
- Deliver technical presentations, product demonstrations, workshops and Proof of Concept (POC).
- Work closely with principal vendors, distributors and internal implementation teams to ensure successful project delivery.
- Stay current with emerging cybersecurity technologies and industry best practices.
Preferred Skills & Experience
- 3–5 years of experience in Cybersecurity Pre-Sales, Solution Architecture or Security Engineering.
- Strong knowledge of enterprise cybersecurity technologies such as:
- Firewalls
- IPS/IDS
- SIEM
- Endpoint Security (EDR/XDR)
- DLP
- Cloud Security
- SASE / ZTNA
- Good understanding of networking concepts including TCP/IP, LAN/WAN, Routing and Switching.
- Experience preparing technical proposals, solution designs and customer presentations.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to engage both technical and business audiences.
- Vendor certifications such as Cisco, Palo Alto, Fortinet, Trend Micro, Check Point, Microsoft Security or similar will be an added advantage.
- Professional certifications including CISSP, CCSP, CISM, CCNA/CCNP or equivalent are advantageous.
