As an AI Engineer, you will bridge the gap between advanced AI research and robust software engineering. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying GenAI and NLP pipelines that directly optimize customer support and knowledge management workflows. This is a fully office-based role in Bangsar South, designed for engineers who thrive in a highly collaborative, fast-paced technical environment.

You will join an agile, forward-thinking Data & AI team consisting of data scientists, machine learning engineers, and software architects. We are looking for an AI Engineer with a strong foundation in NLP and RAG pipelines. You won’t just be tweaking prompts; you will be building production-gated intent generation tools, semantic search pipelines, and exploring the future of Voice AI. • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Software Engineering, or a related quantitative field.

• Experience: Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in AI, Machine Learning, or Data Science engineering roles.

• Core Competencies: Proven experience building and deploying NLP or Generative AI applications into production.

• Work Arrangement: Ability and willingness to work fully on-site/office-based in Bangsar South.

To excel in this role, you will need a blend of AI engineering and solid backend development practices:

• GenAI & RAG Engineering: Experience building AI-powered intent generation or knowledge extraction tools (e.g., parsing PRDs to generate user queries for RAG knowledge bases).

• Semantic Search & NLP: Ability to develop intent similarity detection pipelines using semantic search techniques to ensure data quality control.

• Production Engineering: Hands-on experience enhancing AI platforms with robust engineering practices, including review/approval workflows, production gating, distributed task persistence, and multi-worker task recovery.

• Emerging Tech Research: Curiosity and technical capability to research, evaluate, and architect new AI capabilities, such as integrating Voice AI (Speech-to-Text, Text-to-Speech) into existing chatbot ecosystems.
