About the Role
We are looking for a skilled Senior BI Developer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining robust data solutions using the Microsoft BI Stack (SSIS, SSAS, SSRS). You will work closely with stakeholders to transform raw data into clear, actionable business insights.
The ideal candidate brings strong technical expertise in data modeling and ETL development, paired with excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively across teams.
Key Responsibilities
Data Modeling: Design, build, and maintain enterprise data models and schemas, including dimensional modeling (star/snowflake schemas).
ETL Processes: Build, maintain, and optimize scalable ETL/ELT pipelines using SSIS.
Analysis & Reporting: Develop and manage semantic models in SSAS and build operational reports and dashboards using SSRS.
Performance Optimization: Troubleshoot and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and data workflows for maximum performance and efficiency.
Stakeholder Collaboration: Communicate technical concepts clearly to business users and gather functional requirements to deliver impactful BI solutions.
Qualifications & Requirements
Experience: 4+ years of hands-on experience in BI development or data engineering.
Core Stack Expertise: Strong proficiency in SSIS, SSAS, and SSRS.
Data Warehousing: Solid understanding of data modeling techniques, dimensional modeling, and database design concepts.
Advanced SQL Skills: Expertise in T-SQL, including complex queries, indexing, and stored procedures.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with both technical and non-technical team members.
