- Plan and execute sourcing initiatives for industrial materials, machinery, spare parts, and engineering related components.
- Manage supplier performance, conduct commercial negotiations, and establish approved vendor frameworks.
- Implement cost-reduction strategies and evaluate market trends to optimize procurement spending.
- Partner with production, quality assurance, and engineering teams to align material requirements with operational schedules.
- Coordinate international purchasing workflows, including shipment tracking, customs documentation, and logistics oversight.
skills and experience required.
- Minimum 3-5 years of procurement experience (manufacturing background is a plus) within a purchasing or supply chain capacity.
- Diploma/ Degree in supply chain management, business administration, or a related field.
- Demonstrated track record in commercial negotiation, supplier evaluation, and contract management.
- Experience handling import operations and utilizing enterprise management tools for purchase order processing.
- Proficiency in analyzing procurement data and managing vendor performance metrics.
- Exposure to ERP/MRP system
