About the Opportunity
An established and fast-growing technology solutions provider is looking for an experienced Senior Sales Manager for a multi national SI company to drive enterprise sales and manage strategic customer relationships in Telco Industry across Malaysia.
This is an excellent opportunity for a consultative sales professional with experience selling enterprise IT infrastructure, cloud, software, cybersecurity, networking, managed services, or digital transformation solutions to corporate and public sector clients.
You will be responsible for managing existing key accounts while actively developing new business opportunities, working closely with technical pre-sales teams and leading global technology vendors to deliver end-to-end IT solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage a portfolio of enterprise and commercial customers.
- Identify, qualify, and secure new business opportunities through proactive business development activities.
- Build trusted relationships with C-level executives, IT leaders, procurement teams, and key decision-makers.
- Manage the complete sales lifecycle from prospecting and solution positioning through proposal, negotiation, and contract closure.
- Work closely with internal pre-sales, delivery, and support teams to develop customer-centric technology solutions.
- Prepare proposals, quotations, presentations, RFPs, RFIs, and tender responses.
- Build and maintain a healthy sales pipeline while accurately forecasting revenue.
- Achieve individual sales targets and contribute to overall business growth.
- Develop strong partnerships with technology vendors, distributors, and strategic partners.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer requirements to identify new revenue opportunities.
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through effective account management and issue resolution.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 5 years of enterprise B2B technology sales or account management experience.
- Proven track record of consistently achieving or exceeding sales targets.
- Experience selling one or more of the following:
- Enterprise Servers & Storage
- Networking Solutions
- Cybersecurity Solutions
- Cloud Services
- End User Computing (PCs, Laptops, Workstations)
- Software Licensing
- Managed Services
- Professional Services
- Strong experience managing enterprise accounts and engaging senior business stakeholders.
- Experience responding to RFPs, RFQs, RFIs, and large tender opportunities is highly advantageous.
- Excellent presentation, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to identify new business opportunities.
- Self-motivated, results-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced sales environment.
