As they continue to scale their global footprint and optimize their advanced manufacturing capabilities, they are seeking a visionary and strategic Supply Chain Director to lead their end-to-end supply chain operations.
The Role & Key Responsibilities
As the Supply Chain Director, you will design, execute, and optimize a resilient, agile, and cost-effective end-to-end supply chain strategy. You will lead a high-performing team spanning procurement, logistics, planning, and warehouse management to support complex, high-mix/low-volume or high-volume manufacturing environments.
...Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute comprehensive supply chain strategies aligned with global business objectives, ensuring seamless continuity of supply in a volatile market.
Procurement & Vendor Management: Oversee strategic sourcing, global supplier negotiation, and category management for direct/indirect materials, electronics components, and equipment.
Operations & Planning: Optimize Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP), master scheduling, demand forecasting, and inventory control to minimize liability while meeting customer delivery timelines.
Logistics & Distribution: Manage global logistics, freight forwarding, customs compliance, and warehousing operations to ensure cost-efficient and timely inbound/outbound distribution.
Continuous Improvement: Drive digital transformation, automation, and lean initiatives across the supply chain to enhance efficiency, reduce total cost of ownership (TCO), and mitigate risks.
Team Development: Lead, mentor, and elevate a diverse, cross-functional supply chain team, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous learning.
The Successful Applicant
Experience: Minimum of 10–15 years of progressive supply chain management experience, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role specifically within the Semiconductor or EMS industry.
Technical Expertise: Deep understanding of electronics components sourcing, global trade compliance, complex S&OP processes, and advanced ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
Track Record: Proven success in navigating global supply chain disruptions, managing multi-million dollar budgets, and executing cost-reduction strategies without compromising quality.
Leadership & Communication: Exceptional stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence C-suite executives and collaborate effectively with global cross-functional teams.
Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Engineering, or a related field. Professional certifications (e.g., APICS, CPIM, CSCP) are highly advantageous.
