- Understand market demand, conduct market research, and develop a feasible leasing plan for the retail space.
- Source new, suitable tenants aligned with the mall's strategic tenant mix planning.
- Build strong rapport with tenants, stakeholders, business partners, and industry contacts.
- Oversee the negotiation and execution of lease agreements and contracts, ensuring strict adherence to legal standards.
- Handle leasing enquiries and complaints, acting as the primary liaison between tenants and internal departments.
- Work closely with tenants and partners to develop co-marketing programs and promotional opportunities.
- Ensure all operational and promotional activities comply with company policies, SOPs, tenancy requirements, and applicable regulations.
- Support the daily operations and overall upkeep of the retail space.
- Assist in managing external service providers and monitoring agreed service-level standards.
- Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations on business performance, leasing status, and market trends.
- Assist with budget tracking, revenue forecasting, and expense control to optimize overall financial performance.
skills and experience required
- Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Real Estate, Marketing, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of relevant experience in leasing, marketing, events, hospitality or retail business development.
- High drive and strong business acumen.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills.
- Passionate about retail and events, with a proactive approach to following new concepts and emerging brands.
