● Prepare teaching materials, examination papers, OSCE stations, and assessment tools.
● Participate in curriculum development, programme review, and academic quality assurance activities.
● Mentor students and supervise academic research projects.
● Conduct research, publish scholarly work, and participate in academic conferences.
● Support accreditation exercises, faculty committees, community engagement, and student recruitment initiatives.
skills and qualifications
● Medical degree (MBBS) recognized by the Malaysian Medical Council (MMC).
● Master's degree / specialist qualification in Surgery or equivalent.
● Minimum 3-5 years of clinical and/or teaching experience.
● Strong clinical, communication, leadership, and mentoring skills.
● Registered with MMC with valid Annual Practising Certificate (APC) is highly prefferred.
● National Specialist Register (NSR) in Surgery is highly preferred.
● Experience in undergraduate or postgraduate medical education.
● Research publications in peer-reviewed journals.
● Familiarity with MQA, MMC, and accreditation requirements will be an added advantage.
