In this position, you will oversee procurement activities and inventory planning to ensure timely product availability and seamless supply chain workflows.
Manage day-to-day procurement operations and negotiate commercial terms with vendors to achieve cost efficiency.
Monitor inventory levels, par levels, and reorder controls to prevent stock shortages or excess accumulation.
Collaborate with sales and warehouse departments to align on demand forecasting and stock requirements.
Coordinate import processes and review shipping documentation to track shipments from order placement to arrival.
Analyse purchasing expenditures and identify opportunities for cost optimisation and process improvements.
skills and experience required.
Prior experience in procurement, supply chain tracking, or inventory control, preferably within the consumer goods or distribution sector. FMCG or F&B experience is preferred.
Sound knowledge of stock forecasting models, reorder point systems, and supplier relationship management.
Understanding of import and export logistics, shipping regulations, and international documentation.
Strong coordination and communication skills to interface effectively with various cross-functional teams.
Proficiency in Mandarin is preferred to facilitate smooth communication with regional suppliers and business associates.
