Lean Six Sigma & Continuous Improvement Deployment
- Lead site-level Yellow Belt and Green Belt training schedules, facilitation, and certification tracking aligned with global standards.
- Coach and mentor active DMAIC and Kaizen projects from inception to formal closure, ensuring financial benefit documentation.
- Maintain the site Continuous Improvement project tracker to monitor scope, ownership, timelines, and financial metrics.
- Facilitate hands-on Kaizen events, including Value Stream Mapping (VSM), 5S, Standard Work, and Lead Time Improvement workshops.
- Lead Measurement System Analysis (MSA) activities, including GR&R and AR&R studies in collaboration with suppliers.
Efficiency Improvement & Lead Time Reduction
- Drive measurable improvements in process efficiency and lead time reduction by identifying waste and eliminating non-value-added steps.
- Track cycle time, throughput, on-time delivery, and process yield to establish baseline and target state performance metrics.
- Submit monthly continuous improvement summaries and present status reports during quarterly leadership reviews.
Continuous Improvement Culture & Standard Work
- Build strong partnerships with site Quality, Operations, and Engineering teams to cultivate continuous improvement champions across operations.
- Ensure all project improvements are institutionalized via Standard Work Instructions (SWIs) and documented to quality standards.
- Maintain a centralized knowledge base containing VSMs, SWIs, Kaizen newspapers, and project charters.
Root Cause Problem Solving (RCPS)
- Train quality and operations teams in RCPS methodologies to embed daily problem-solving capabilities.
- Perform trend analysis on quality issue data (QI and 8D) to escalate systemic issues into formal DMAIC or Kaizen projects.
AI & Data Enablement (Emerging Scope)
- Lead at least one AI-assisted Continuous Improvement project per year yielding documented efficiency gains or lead time reductions.
- Utilize enterprise AI tools (e.g., Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT) to streamline documentation, root cause analysis, and reporting.
- Assist in integrating real-time Statistical Process Control (SPC) monitoring with data analytics teams.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Industrial, Manufacturing, Mechanical, Electrical, or related field).
- Certification: Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification from a recognized body (ASQ, IASSC, or equivalent).
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years’ hands-on continuous improvement/Lean Six Sigma experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Facilitation: Proven ability to independently facilitate Kaizen events.
- Project History: Track record of completing at least one full DMAIC project (Define through Control) with documented quality, lead time, or financial benefits.
- Industry Focus: Experience in semiconductor, electronics, precision manufacturing, or industrial equipment production.
- Statistical Tools: Solid understanding of MSA/GR&R studies and SPC tools (Minitab, JMP, or equivalent).

- Software: Minitab or JMP; Advanced MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
- AI Readiness: Familiarity with or willingness to adopt AI productivity tools (Copilot, ChatGPT).
- Automotive Core Tools: Knowledge of FMEA, SPC, MSA, PPAP, and APQP is a plus.
