Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the overall business strategy for the Malaysia market.
- Drive customer acquisition, retention, and revenue growth through close collaboration with Marketing, Product, and regional leadership teams.
- Identify and develop strategic partnerships and new business opportunities.
- Lead, mentor, and inspire a high-performing cross-functional team.
- Foster a strong culture of accountability, collaboration, and innovation across the local office.
- Act as the senior representative of the business with regulators, industry partners, media, and key stakeholders.
- Oversee business performance, operational execution, and market expansion initiatives.
- Champion customer-centric initiatives that strengthen the company's competitive position.
Requirements
- Proven experience leading and scaling a business or country operation.
- Strong commercial leadership background with responsibility for business growth and P&L.
- Experience within fintech, digital financial services, wealth management, banking, payments, or other regulated financial industries.
- Strong understanding of regulatory environments and stakeholder management.
- Demonstrated success in business development, partnerships, and strategic planning.
- Experience leading high-performing teams and developing future leaders.
- Exposure to AI-enabled business transformation or digital innovation initiatives is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and public speaking skills.
