As a Data Engineer, you will design, build, and optimize our data ecosystem to handle large-scale, real-time data streaming and processing.
Key Responsibilities
Pipeline Development: Design, develop, and maintain scalable, robust batch and real-time data pipelines.
Streaming & Processing: Leverage Kafka and Flink to handle high-throughput, low-latency streaming data.
Data Architecture: Optimize data storage, ingestion, and transformation processes to ensure high availability and performance.
Collaboration: Work closely with Data Scientists, Analysts, and Product teams to deliver clean, reliable data products.
Leadership (For Senior/Lead roles): Mentor junior engineers, architect complex data systems, and drive technical best practices across the team.
What We Are Looking For
Core Technical Stack (Required):
Streaming Tools: Strong hands-on experience with Apache Kafka and/or Apache Flink is a must.
Programming: Proficiency in Python, Java, or Scala.
Databases & Warehousing: Experience with SQL/NoSQL databases and modern cloud data warehouses (e.g., Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift).
Big Data Ecosystem: Familiarity with Spark, Hadoop, or Hive is highly advantageous.
Experience Levels & Expectations:
Junior: 1–3 years of experience. Eager to learn, strong foundational coding, and basic exposure to data pipelines.
Mid-Level: 3–5 years of experience. Ability to own pipeline development independently and troubleshoot streaming issues.
Senior: 5–8 years of experience. Deep understanding of system design, performance tuning in Kafka/Flink, and architectural patterns.
Lead: 8+ years of experience. Proven track record of leading engineering teams, defining data strategy, and architecting enterprise-grade data platforms.
