Our client works alongside governments, investors, and corporate entities to plan, finance, manage, and deliver some of the most critical and large-scale infrastructure projects in the region.
We are currently seeking a highly commercial and entrepreneurial Senior Manager / Director. This is an exceptional platform for a seasoned financial advisory professional to drive end-to-end project lifecycles, combining engineering, technology, and financial expertise to shape the infrastructure of tomorrow.
The Role
As a Senior Manager or Director, you will be a senior leader within the advisory practice, acting as a trusted advisor to clients on complex commercial and financial issues. You will drive high-stakes negotiations, lead sophisticated financial modeling and deal structuring, and actively spearhead business development initiatives to grow the firm's infrastructure footprint.
Key Responsibilities
- Project Execution & Deal Management:
- Lead and oversee junior teams in the creation of comprehensive deliverables, including Information Memorandums, Financial Models, project risk matrices, term sheets, feasibility and concept reports, options analyses, and payment structures.
- Undertake high-level negotiations with clients on engagement-related matters and act on behalf of clients during critical project negotiations.
- Oversee internal deal management requirements, ensuring all risk and compliance checks are completed and internal approvals are secured.
- Business Development & Franchise Growth:
- Drive business development initiatives, working closely with Partners to identify new market opportunities, produce compelling proposal content, and conduct deep-dive research into target clients and industries.
- Develop and maintain robust internal and external networks, actively engaging with government procurers, regulators, and client C-suite executives.
- Support the Partners in franchise development, marketing efforts, social media engagement, thought leadership, and sponsored industry conferences.
- Leadership & Mentorship:
- Coach, mentor, and develop junior members of the team, guiding their day-to-day execution activities and actively supporting their long-term career progression within the firm.
Key Requirements
- Experience: At least 10 years of highly relevant experience within a Big 4 financial advisory practice, a boutique infrastructure advisory firm, or a financial institution (such as an investment bank, commercial bank, or private equity fund).
- Technical Skills: Proven, hands-on experience in financial modeling (both developing from scratch and reviewing complex models). Exceptional MS Office capabilities, particularly in Excel and PowerPoint.
- Industry Knowledge: Deep knowledge, strong interest, and a proven track record in the infrastructure and government marketplace. Ability to rapidly grasp complex commercial issues.
