We are looking for a Senior Security Engineer (Data Loss Prevention) to join a global cybersecurity team responsible for protecting sensitive business information across enterprise environments.
This role focuses on designing, implementing and continuously improving Microsoft Purview Data Loss Prevention (DLP) capabilities while supporting global data protection initiatives. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to implement security controls, investigate DLP incidents and enhance the organization's overall security posture.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of Microsoft Purview Data Loss Prevention (DLP) policies across Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Microsoft Teams and Endpoints.
- Develop and maintain sensitivity labels, auto-labelling policies and enterprise data classification strategies.
- Investigate DLP incidents and provide technical troubleshooting for escalated security events.
- Work closely with business users, infrastructure teams and external partners to improve enterprise data protection controls.
- Monitor DLP effectiveness and recommend continuous improvements based on business requirements and emerging cyber threats.
- Support compliance initiatives by implementing enterprise data protection controls aligned with security policies and regulatory standards.
- Participate in global cybersecurity projects involving Microsoft security technologies and enterprise collaboration platforms.
Preferred Skills & Experience
- Hands-on experience administering Microsoft Purview Data Loss Prevention (DLP).
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 Security, Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive and Microsoft Teams.
- Experience with Microsoft Information Protection (MIP), Sensitivity Labels, Data Classification and Microsoft Defender technologies.
- Familiarity with Endpoint DLP, Insider Risk Management or Microsoft Defender ecosystem is highly desirable.
- Good understanding of enterprise security concepts including Identity & Access Management (IAM), Endpoint Security, Cloud Security and Zero Trust.
- Experience supporting enterprise security incidents and working with cross-functional technical teams.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively with both technical and business stakeholders.
Nice to Have
- Microsoft certifications such as SC-200, SC-300, SC-400 or AZ-500.
- Experience with Microsoft Sentinel, Microsoft Defender XDR or Microsoft Intune.
- Knowledge of ISO 27001, GDPR or other information security and compliance frameworks.
- Experience working in multinational or regional enterprise environments.
