The role is responsible for managing inbound and outbound shipping operations, warehouse inventory levels, and local distribution networks. The core focus is to optimise supply chain efficiencies, ensure distribution compliance, minimise slow-moving stock, and maintain seamless coordination with primary third-party logistics (3PL) partners and distributors to support commercial growth.

key responsibilities
Vendor & Account Management: Manage distribution channels, look after existing warehouse/supplier accounts, and build strong partnerships with logistics vendors. Ensure the profitability, growth, and operational targets of assigned accounts are met.
Efficiency & Cost Optimisation: Identify bottlenecks, evaluate vendor positions, and research shipping options to uncover cost-saving opportunities, particularly by forecasting promotions and launches.
Inventory & Monitoring: Maintain consistent market and warehouse visits to monitor logistics, inventory, and deliveries. Closely monitor distributor stock inventory, return stocks, and slow-moving items.
Planning & Forecasting: Execute logistics plans, prepare forecast and distribution reports, and provide annual, quarterly, and monthly sales goals forecasts. Plan delivery activities with customers in line with corporate strategy.
Market Intelligence: Review competitor's distribution activities and monitor account performance against marketing plans.
Ad-Hoc Duties: Undertake any ad-hoc assignments as required by management.
skills and experience required
- Experience: At least two (2) years of logistics experience in multinational FMCG companies. Experience in the beauty and cosmetics sector is considered a plus.
Track Record: Demonstrated and proven operational results.
Technical Skills: Computer literate and highly proficient in MS Office.
Languages: Required proficiency in English and Bahasa Malaysia. Knowledge of other dialects is an added advantage.
Soft Skills: Excellent interpersonal skills, an outgoing personality, a fast learner, and a genuine passion for logistics.
