Key Responsibilities
Reporting directly to the General Manager, you will oversee all installation, repair, and upkeep operations to ensure optimal operational efficiency. Your core duties include:
Operations & Reliability: Manage all repair and installation activities to minimize disruption to production schedules; conduct comprehensive facility and line inspections to proactively resolve technical or safety hazards.
Process & Strategy: Develop, refine, and rigorously implement standard maintenance procedures across all shifts.
Budget & Inventory: Assign preventive maintenance schedules, evaluate cost estimates to manage the budget effectively, and monitor spare parts inventory to prevent downtime.
People Leadership: Coach, mentor, and develop maintenance employees to enhance technical competencies and foster a high-performance culture.
Reporting & Compliance: Document daily progress reports and maintenance logs for senior management visibility, and ensure full compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
Vendor Management: Build and maintain strong professional relationships with external contractors for specialized technical support.
Requirements
Education & Qualifications
Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.
Comprehensive training or familiarity with HACCP, GMP, and ISO 9001 standards is highly preferred.
Experience Needed
Minimum of 10 years of relevant manufacturing experience, with a heavy emphasis on both electrical and mechanical systems.
Proven track record in a fast-paced environment, managing tight deadlines and multi-tasking effectively.
Demonstrated supervisory and management experience leading and developing technical teams.
Deep working knowledge of facilities machinery, production equipment, and complex technical blueprints/schematics.
Strong background in data analysis to identify trends and create highly efficient maintenance processes.
