About the JobAs an M&E Coordinator & BIM Modeller, you will bridge the gap between engineering design, digital modeling, and on-site execution. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring that Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) systems are seamlessly integrated into our projects from the design phase through to successful handover.
Key Responsibilities:
BIM Modeling & Coordination: Develop, update, and maintain comprehensive 3D M&E BIM models in alignment with project requirements and architectural/structural designs.
Clash Detection & Resolution: Conduct thorough clash detection analysis, identify spatial conflicts between M&E services and other disciplines, and propose practical engineering solutions.
Site Coordination: Act as the technical liaison between the project management team, consultants, and sub-contractors to resolve M&E technical issues and ensure site installation matches the approved models.
Drawing Management: Generate precise shop drawings, combined services drawings (CSD), and structural product drawings (SPD) from the BIM model for site execution.
Quality & Compliance: Ensure all M&E modeling and site works adhere to building authorities' regulations, statutory requirements, and company quality standards.
Looking for a detail-oriented professional who combines strong technical M&E engineering knowledge with hands-on 3D modeling expertise.
Technical Qualifications:
Education: A Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering, Building Services, or a related field. Certified BIM training is highly regarded.
Experience: Minimum 5 years of working experience in M&E coordination and BIM modeling within property development, main contracting, or engineering consultancies.
Core Competencies:
M&E Systems Knowledge: A solid understanding of building services, including HVAC, electrical distribution, plumbing, fire protection, and ELV systems.
Problem-Solving: Strong spatial awareness and the ability to proactively resolve complex routing conflicts before they impact the construction schedule.
Communication & Teamwork: Strong interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with various project stakeholders, architects, and site sub-contractors.
