About the Opportunity
A leading regional ICT solutions provider is seeking an experienced Pre-Sales Manager – Enterprise / Campus Networking to join its growing technical consulting team. This role is ideal for a networking professional who enjoys designing enterprise infrastructure solutions, engaging with customers, and driving digital transformation initiatives across commercial and enterprise environments.
As a trusted technical advisor, you will work closely with customers, sales teams, technology vendors, and implementation partners to architect secure, scalable, and intelligent networking solutions throughout the complete sales lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage with enterprise customers to understand business objectives and technical requirements.
- Design scalable, resilient, and secure campus networking solutions aligned with customer needs.
- Develop solution architectures, technical proposals, Bills of Materials (BoMs), and High-Level Designs (HLDs).
- Lead technical workshops, solution presentations, and customer demonstrations.
- Manage end-to-end Proof of Concept (PoC) engagements, including planning, execution, validation, and reporting.
- Support RFI, RFP, RFQ, and tender submissions with comprehensive technical documentation.
- Collaborate with technology vendors, distributors, and delivery teams to ensure successful solution positioning.
- Provide technical guidance throughout the sales cycle from opportunity qualification through project handover.
- Stay current with networking technologies, automation trends, and competitive market developments.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Telecommunications, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Enterprise Networking, Network Infrastructure, Telecommunications, or ICT solutions.
- At least 3 years of experience in a Presales, Solution Engineering, or Network Consultancy role.
- Strong experience designing enterprise LAN, WLAN, campus networking, and data centre networking solutions.
- Hands-on knowledge of routing, switching, wireless technologies, network automation, and network management platforms.
- Experience preparing technical proposals, HLDs, BoMs, RFIs, RFPs, and tender submissions.
- Strong customer-facing presentation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience conducting technical workshops, solution demonstrations, and Proof of Concepts (PoCs).
- Professional networking certifications (such as Cisco, Juniper, Extreme, or Wireless certifications) will be highly regarded.
