Process Design & NPI: Identify manufacturing needs for new product introductions (NPI), designing cost-effective processes, tooling, and assembly layouts.
Thermoforming Optimization: Drive plastic thermoforming process control, eliminate waste/scrap, and improve Overall Equipment Efficiency (OEE).
Shop Floor & Automation: Execute shop floor layouts, workcell design, and process automation/robotics to increase efficiency and streamline workflow.
Equipment Maintenance & Safety: Oversee plant machinery start-up/shut-down schedules, manage preventive maintenance, and minimize downtime.
Continuous Improvement & Quality: Lead continuous improvement projects using Poka-Yoke (error-proofing), Gage R&R, standard work instructions, and root cause analysis.
Standards & Compliance: Ensure compliance with ISO standards (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 13485) and local occupational safety/environmental guidelines.

Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Packaging Engineering, Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
Experience: Minimum 3 years of dedicated engineering experience in plastic thermoforming manufacturing.
Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of thermoforming process controls, Just-In-Time (JIT) production, value stream mapping, and machinery maintenance.
Standards Awareness: Familiarity with ISO standards (ISO9001, ISO14001, ISO13485) and local safety requirements.
Soft Skills: Hands-on, energetic self-starter with strong communication, team leadership, and analytical problem-solving capabilities.
Languages: Professional working proficiency in English; additional language capabilities are desirable.
