The company's main point of contact with local authorities and government stakeholders. The
role also manages the projects that come out of those contracts, from tender or bid through to
delivery and reporting, including tracking project progress and handling all related
communications.

Government stamp; Private Company Liaison
• Build and maintain working relationships with local authorities and government
stakeholders.
• Attend site meetings, briefings and progress meetings, and present company proposals
when required.
• Follow up on all correspondence and communications with the authorities.
• Prepare and submit official correspondence in Bahasa Malaysia (surat rasmi, minit
mesyuarat, laporan).
• Submit,Track tenders and manage ePerolehan and prepare bid documents.
• Keep company registrations current, including MOF/ePerolehan.
• Monitor licence expiry dates, project timelines and renewals.
• Handle Sirim Audit stamp; DOE – Department of Environment and other licensing body
Project Management
• Plan and track each contract: scope, timelines, KPIs, manpower and vendors
• Reconcile the authoritýs instructions against work actually completed,and prepare the
monthly reports.
• Coordinate between stateholders , operations, finance and vendors to ensure timeliness
and compliance with SOP and KPI
• Spot risks early (delays, disputes, compliance gaps) and escalate them to management.
• Keep a contract register covering expiry dates, renewals, performance bonds and
insurance.
Requirements
- Degree in Public Administration, Business, Project Management, Law, or a related field.
- At least 3 years in government liaison, tender or procurement, or project coordination with government agencies
- Strong spoken and written Bahasa Malaysia for official letters and meetings, plus good English
- Understands how local councils work, government procurement (ePerolehan, quotations, tenders) and the claims and payment process
- Good command of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Microsoft 365)
- Own transport and a valid driving licence (Class D). Willing to travel locally and outstation - to council offices and project sites
