You will manage projects from feasibility studies through installation, commissioning and handover, ensuring delivery within agreed budgets, timelines and technical requirements.

• Lead CAPEX projects, including feasibility assessments, scope definition, budgeting and resource planning.
• Manage project schedules, costs, cash flow and risks.
• Coordinate suppliers, contractors and internal teams to deliver safe and effective project execution.
• Evaluate technical proposals, source vendors and negotiate commercial terms.
• Drive equipment and process improvements to enhance productivity, quality and cost efficiency.
• Provide mechanical and pneumatic technical support, including equipment troubleshooting.
• Monitor performance following project handover and coordinate corrective actions where required.
• Report project progress to management and support team development.

• Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics Engineering or a related discipline.
• At least five years of relevant engineering or project experience within a high-volume manufacturing environment, preferably FMCG.
• Experience managing equipment installation, upgrades or capital investment projects.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, pneumatics and automation, with hands-on troubleshooting experience.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and pneumatic schematics.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office; familiarity with Microsoft Project.
• Knowledge of continuous improvement, TPM and relevant quality and environmental standards.
• Strong stakeholder coordination, problem-solving and communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Experience with data analysis and Six Sigma tools would be an advantage.
