• Request quotations, conduct cost analyses, and negotiate optimal commercial terms and lead times.
• Issue Purchase Orders (POs) and track deliveries to ensure dockside and vessel deadlines are met.
• Evaluate vendor performance, cultivate supplier networks, and handle dispute resolutions.
• Coordinate closely with technical superintendents, vessel engineers, and logistics handlers.
• Maintain accurate procurement records in accordance with maritime safety and compliance standards.

requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Maritime Studies, Supply Chain, Logistics, or Business.
• 2–4 years of procurement experience within maritime, shipping, shipyard, or offshore technical sectors.
• Strong vendor negotiation skills, commercial acumen, and high attention to detail.
• Proficiency with procurement software or ERP platforms (e.g., SAP, AMOS).
