The Regional Reporting Manager is responsible for overseeing the Group’s financial reporting, statutory compliance, and audit coordination functions. This role ensures timely and accurate preparation of consolidated financial statements, compliance with applicable financial reporting standards, and high-quality reporting to the Bursa-listed parent company.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Reporting & Consolidation

Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual consolidation of Group financial statements.
Ensure accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of consolidated financial reporting.
Review intercompany balances, eliminations, and reconciliation processes.
Prepare Group-level management and statutory reporting packs.

Statutory & Bursa Reporting

Coordinate reporting deliverables to the Bursa-listed parent company in accordance with reporting timelines and requirements.
Ensure compliance with Financial Reporting Standards (FRS), applicable accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.
Support preparation of annual reports, financial statements, and Board/Audit Committee papers.

Audit & Compliance

Serve as the primary liaison for external auditors and coordinate annual audit activities across entities.
Ensure all audit schedules, supporting documents, and reconciliations are properly maintained.
Drive resolution of audit findings and implementation of corrective actions.
Strengthen internal controls and reporting governance frameworks.

Business Performance Reporting & Business Partnering

Proactively align financial reporting with business needs to provide greater visibility and a clear, actionable understanding of performance across all segments and geographies.
Deliver proactive insights and deep-dive analysis on variances and trends to drive informed business decision-making and improve operational performance.
Engage as a strategic finance partner to ensure stakeholders fully grasp financial implications and can leverage reporting for commercial advantage.
Foster collaboration with business units to enhance transparency and standardise management reporting for consistent organisational insights.
Optimise reporting hierarchies and structures to ensure they accurately reflect evolving commercial developments and business priorities.
Continuously enhance dashboards and analytical tools to provide real-time, high-impact visibility into key performance drivers.

Develop meaningful KPIs and performance metrics to support decision-making.

Additional Responsibilities

Conduct ad-hoc financial analysis
Ensure compliance with internal policies, financial controls, and local regulations.
Support tax and regulatory reporting requirements where applicable.
Review accounting treatments for complex or non-routine transactions.

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline.
Professional qualification such as ACCA, CPA, CA, or equivalent.
Minimum 7–10 years of relevant experience in financial reporting, consolidation, and audit.
Strong knowledge of MFRS/IFRS and statutory reporting requirements.
Experience dealing with Bursa-listed reporting requirements is advantageous.
Strong analytical, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
Experience with ERP systems and reporting tools is an advantage.
