Conducts technology watch on software developments and new versions
Collects, structures, and formalizes business needs regarding application, product, and
service enhancements
Proactively proposes solution choices
Prioritizes and presents requirements to be delivered during arbitration committees
Acts as the main point of contact for software vendors

Study phase

Handles enhancements/corrections and projects within the activity scope:
Prepares/has prepared functional specification documents according to the methodology
selected for the project (Agile or Waterfall)
Analyzes/has analyzed enhancement and correction requests, taking into account the
application landscape (upgrades, SaaS solutions, etc.)
Estimates/has estimated the expected workload of each request by involving the relevant
teams (development, interfaced systems, etc.)
Collects business volume data (number of users, transaction volumes, etc.)
Ensures that planned IS changes comply with the architectural principles of the relevant
applications

Implementation

Performs/has performed configuration and has carried out/followed up on developments
Defines, performs/has performed, and maintains test plans (unit, integration, and non-
regression)
Is responsible for the quality of deliveries and testing within the domain
Supports Business Process Owners, if needed, during testing (test plan definition, test
execution, training, etc.)
Acts as the contact point for technical teams: development, authorizations, operations, etc.
Tests technical changes to applications (e.g., support packages, version changes) and
organizes or participates in associated deployments

Go-live

Supports the skill ramp-up of the maintenance provider, notably through knowledge transfer
Coordinates the actions required for deployment to the production environment
Ensures that functional and technical documentation is available and up to date; completes it
if needed

User Support

Validates the competence of the maintenance provider
Monitors the service quality of support provided by the maintenance provider
Builds and implements preventive support action plans
Handles or facilitates incident resolution when necessary
