About the Company
Our client is an established and reputable property developer with a strong footprint in Malaysia. Driven by continuous portfolio growth and project developments, they are currently seeking a meticulous and experienced Senior Finance / Accounts Executive to oversee full-set developer accounts, group consolidation, and treasury operations.
The Role
Reporting to management, you will play a critical role in managing full-set property development accounts, ensuring accurate profit recognition, driving tax estimations. This is an excellent position for a property-focused finance professional looking for career growth within a dynamic developer environment.
Key Responsibilities
1. Financial Management
- Full-Set Accounting: Review and execute monthly full-set property developer accounts, applying sound knowledge of property profit recognition and tax computations.
2. Treasury & Tax Compliance
- Taxation: Perform yearly tax estimations and revisions, ensuring timely preparation and submission of Form CP204 and CP204A.
3. Stakeholder Management
- External Relations: Act as a key liaison point with bankers, external auditors, tax agents, and internal project managers on all finance and operational matters.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance
- Experience: Minimum 3-4 years of hands-on accounting experience specifically within the Property Development sector.
- Core Competencies: Strong command of Malaysian accounting standards, property profit recognition, CP204 tax computations, and cash flow monitoring.
