We are seeking a strategic, commercially-minded, and highly meticulous Senior Finance Manager to oversee the group's financial operations, drive corporate compliance, and lead a high-performing finance team.
The Role & Key Responsibilities
As the Senior Finance Manager, you will report directly to the CFO and play a pivotal role in the group’s financial stewardship. Your core responsibilities will include:
- Financial & Statutory Reporting: Oversee the preparation of consolidated financial statements, ensuring strict compliance with MFRS, IFRS, and Bursa Malaysia listing requirements.
- Strategic Planning: Lead the annual budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis to provide actionable insights to senior leadership and the Board of Directors.
- Corporate Governance & Tax: Ensure full compliance with direct/indirect tax regulations, corporate governance standards, and coordinate internal/external audit processes.
Requirements & Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you should possess:
- Professional Qualification: A Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting/Finance AND a professional certification
- Experience: Minimum of 10 years of progressive financial experience, with at least 3–5 years in a managerial capacity.
- Industry Background: Prior experience working within a Bursa-listed company or a large conglomerate is highly preferred. Experience in Audit (Big 4) is a strong advantage.
