Job Opportunity: Solution Engineer / Technical Reviewer
We are partnering with a Leading Global Smart Energy & Electrical Solutions Provider to identify a talented Solution Engineer / Technical Reviewer to join their APAC Customer Success Center. Our client is at the forefront of driving innovation in power systems, renewable energy, and industrial automation globally.
In this role, you will take ownership of the technical design, review, and optimization of prefabricated substation solutions specifically tailored for overseas projects. You will play a pivotal role in supporting bidding and sales activities by delivering engineering solutions that are competitive, highly reliable, and fully compliant with stringent international standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive technical reviews for overseas projects, encompassing system configuration and technical evaluation of prefabricated substation solutions.
- Participate in the formulation and execution of product design and engineering plans, focusing on the design, integration, and optimization of prefabricated substations.
- Optimize design layouts to maximize bid competitiveness by engineering cost-effective, reliable, and technically viable prefabricated substation solutions tailored directly to project requirements.
- Integrate international engineering best practices and state-of-the-art technology to continuously elevate the performance, reliability, quality, and overall market competitiveness of the client's prefabricated substation portfolio.
- Develop highly customized engineering solutions, including specialized prefabricated substation configurations and modular system designs.
- Provide robust technical recommendations and system-level solutions, ensuring strict compliance with applicable international standards, industry codes, project specifications, and local implementation practices.
- Partner with and support the sales team through technical evaluations, clarifications, and ongoing technical assistance related to prefabricated substations and broader power systems.
- Define core technical parameters and lead the preparation, review, and final validation of critical bidding documentation, including detailed technical specifications for prefabricated substations.
- Collaborate seamlessly with internal manufacturing facilities to coordinate technical drawing matters.
- Execute other ad-hoc duties and technical assignments as dictated by leadership and project demands.
Candidate Profile & Qualifications
- Education: A Bachelor’s degree or above is required.
- Specialization: Must hold a degree majoring in power systems or a closely related technical discipline.
- Experience: 3 to 5 years of working experience in a related functional or professional field, with specific experience acting as a product technical support engineer.
- Industry Expertise: Proven experience in delivering solutions for the data center and renewable energy sectors (such as solar, wind, and energy storage) is highly preferred.
- Technical Acumen: Strong grasp of technical marketing skills and an in-depth mastery of product structures.
- Digital Fluency: Proficient in standard computer operations, network utilization, and Microsoft Office suite.
- Language Skills: Fluent English reading and writing capabilities, coupled with solid English listening and speaking skills.
