Position Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and hands-on ATE Test Development Engineer to join the engineering team. In this role, you will lead the design, execution, and release-to-production of advanced ATE test solutions for precision mixed-signal products. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional global teams from design to manufacturing to drive yield optimization, cost reduction, and high-volume production excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Test Plan & Strategy: Define comprehensive ATE test plans and test flows for new product introductions (NPI).
- Design for Testability: Collaborate with design teams on Design for Test (DFT) features to maximize product testability and efficiency.
- Test Hardware & Software: Specify ATE test hardware specifications and author robust test software programs on standard platforms (e.g., Teradyne ETS-88, ETS-364, or UltraFLEX) using C++.
- Production Launch & NPI: Lead release-to-production (RTP) readiness and support the seamless rollout of products into high-volume manufacturing.
- Yield & Cost Optimization: Drive continuous improvement initiatives, including yield enhancement, test time reduction, and cost-reduction projects.
- Lab Debugging: Perform hands-on board-level troubleshooting, analog circuit debugging, and statistical analysis on test data streams.
Key Requirements & Qualifications
- Education: Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or equivalent.
- Experience: 2 to 5+ years of hands-on experience in ATE test program development for mixed-signal ICs.
- ATE Platforms: Direct experience with Teradyne platforms (ETS-88, ETS-364, UltraFLEX) is highly desirable.
- Programming: Proficiency in C++ programming for test program architecture and optimization.
- Hardware & Lab Skills: Solid understanding of analog electronics, board-level debugging, and lab instrumentation (metrology/timing instrumentation experience is a plus).
- Analytics: Strong background in statistical process control (SPC) and test data analysis.
