about the company
Randstad is exclusively partnering with a highly prestigious, rapidly expanding public accounting and advisory firm. Known for delivering exceptional audit quality and strategic business solutions, our client is currently looking to strengthen its leadership team with a high-calibre Audit Salaried Partner.

The Role
As a Salaried Partner, you will be at the forefront of the firm’s audit practice. You will not only oversee complex statutory and international audit engagements but also act as a key commercial driver for the firm. This role requires an entrepreneurial leader who thrives on business development, extensive client relationship management, and international travel.
You will lead a high-performing audit division, manage high-stakes engagements under the Audit Oversight Board (AOB), and shape the future growth trajectory of the practice.
Key Responsibilities
- Audit Leadership & Signing: Act as the primary signing audit partner for a diverse portfolio of complex engagements, ensuring absolute compliance with local and international auditing standards.
- Business Development: Take an aggressive, entrepreneurial approach to market expansion. Drive new business initiatives, pitch to prospective clients, and significantly expand the firm’s revenue streams.
- Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain deep, trusted advisor relationships with C-suite executives, board members, and international stakeholders.
- Team & Practice Management: Provide strong leadership to the audit division. Mentor, coach, and develop senior managers and directors to foster a high-performance culture.
- Global Engagement: Undertake international travel to manage cross-border engagements, collaborate with global affiliates, and facilitate international business development.
Key Requirements
- Licensing & Compliance: You must currently hold a valid Malaysian audit practicing license and meet all applicable regulatory requirements to act as a signing audit partner.
- AOB Experience: Proven experience and deep familiarity with the Audit Oversight Board (AOB) framework and compliance requirements in Malaysia is strictly required.
- Language Proficiency: Due to the specific demographics of the firm's regional and international client base, exceptional fluency in English, Mandarin, and Cantonese is advantageous.
- Global Standards (Preferred): Prior experience in US GAAP, SEC reporting requirements, and PCAOB auditing standards is not mandatory but will be considered a massive advantage.
