About the Job
Based out of the Kulai facility, this crucial role bridges business development with technical project management. You will hold complete end-to-end responsibility for expanding corporate market share, overseeing the full NPI lifecycle, and coordinating between international client entities and internal engineering teams to deliver flawless project execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and secure new business opportunities while serving as the primary commercial anchor for assigned manufacturing accounts.
- Direct cross-functional project teams through the complete NPI lifecycle, ensuring strict adherence to timelines and cost requirements.
- Formulate strategic pricing and product costing models to maximize project margins and revenue growth.
- Act as the technical liaison during initial consultation phases, interpreting engineering drawings and participating in Design for Manufacturing (DFM) evaluations.
- Manage regional sales forecasts, compile market trends, and travel across regional manufacturing hubs to align with business stakeholders.
Skills & Experience Required
- Minimum of 5 years of commercial, business development, or project management experience within a manufacturing environment.
- Proven track record in handling key accounts, project quotations, and cross-departmental coordination from design to mass production.
- Strong technical acumen with the ability to read customer product drawings and understand general engineering constraints.
- Natural leadership capabilities with a proactive, customer-centric approach to driving timeline compliance.
- Regional mobility and willingness to travel frequently to domestic and international production sites.
