About the Role
Our client is looking for an experienced and forward-thinking Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to lead a technology-driven organisation through its next phase of growth. This is an opportunity for a strategic and commercially minded leader who understands the technology landscape, recognises emerging market opportunities, and can translate business vision into sustainable growth. The ideal candidate will bring a strong combination of business leadership, commercial acumen, and an understanding of how technology can drive innovation and transformation.
Key Responsibilities
- Business Strategy & Growth: Define and execute the company's vision, business strategy, and long-term growth plans.
- Commercial Leadership: Identify new revenue streams, explore new markets, develop strategic partnerships, and drive business performance.
- Technology & Innovation: Leverage emerging technologies, digital transformation, AI, and data-driven solutions to strengthen the company's competitive position.
- Financial Performance: Oversee revenue growth, profitability, budgets, investments, and overall financial performance.
- Leadership & Culture: Build, lead, and develop a high-performing leadership team while fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and collaboration.
- Market Expansion: Identify opportunities to expand the business locally and internationally, adapting to changing market demands.
- Stakeholder Management: Build strong relationships with the board, investors, customers, business partners, and other key stakeholders.
- Operational Excellence: Ensure the organisation operates efficiently, scales sustainably, and delivers strong customer and business outcomes.
- Governance & Risk Management: Maintain strong corporate governance while navigating business risks, regulatory requirements, and industry developments.
Requirements
- A proven track record in a senior executive leadership role, such as CEO, Managing Director, Country Manager, General Manager, or an equivalent position.
- Experience leading a technology company, technology business unit, digital platform, software business, IT services organisation, or technology-enabled enterprise.
- Strong commercial acumen with a demonstrated ability to drive revenue growth, profitability, and business expansion.
- A strategic mindset with the ability to identify market opportunities and turn them into actionable business plans.
- Experience building and leading senior management teams in a growth-oriented environment.
- Strong financial management, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement capabilities.
- An understanding of emerging technology trends, digital transformation, and their commercial applications.
- Excellent communication, decision-making, and leadership skills.
- The ability to balance long-term strategic objectives with hands-on execution.
