The rapid surge in AI computing and next-gen hardware design is pushing thermal and signal integrity challenges to their limits. We are partnering with a global leader in advanced electronics materials to hire a Regional Field Application Engineer (FAE).

Key Responsibilities

Collaborate with client engineering teams (OEMs/ODMs) to resolve complex thermal dissipation and electromagnetic management challenges at the component and board level.
Recommend, qualify, and troubleshoot specialized application materials including advanced gap fillers, thermal interface media, shielding solutions, and custom EMI components.
Work closely with cross-functional R&D, manufacturing, and commercial teams to translate customer specifications into viable technical solutions.
Support technical trials, design-in activities, and business development efforts across key Southeast Asian growth markets.
Conduct on-site customer engineering visits across SEA (approx. 30–40% travel).

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Materials Science, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Applied Chemistry, or a related discipline.
5 years of experience in application engineering, technical support, material qualification, or design-in roles (background in thermal management, EMC, or specialized electronic materials is a strong plus).
Strong interpersonal and presentation skills with an interest in moving beyond pure R&D into a customer-facing technical position.
Willing to travel regionally within SEA. Includes an initial structured technical training/onboarding immersion abroad (up to 3–6 months) under senior regional leadership.
