LISTED AUTOMOTIVE MANUFACTURING GROUP
COMPANY OVERVIEW
We are an established Bursa Malaysia Main Market-listed automotive manufacturing conglomerate headquartered in the Klang Valley. Operating integrated automotive assembly plants, component manufacturing facilities, and distribution networks, we partner with leading global original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) and automotive brands.
As the automotive sector undergoes rapid technological evolution—driven by electric vehicle (EV) ecosystems, supply chain localization, and digital manufacturing—we are seeking a dynamic, forward-thinking, and commercially driven Group Chief Financial Officer (Group CFO) to lead our group finance function and co-steer the business toward its next phase of market expansion.
POSITION PURPOSE
Reporting directly to the Group CEO and Executive Board, the Group CFO will serve as a strategic co-pilot and commercial driver for the entire group. This position transcends traditional group accounting and compliance; it demands a dynamic leader with sharp commercial acumen to drive plant operational performance, lead strategic FP&A, manage capital allocation, oversee M&A and JV partnerships, and optimize group cash flow.
The ideal candidate will combine deep Bursa Malaysia listing governance expertise with hands-on commercial leadership in manufacturing finance, supplier pricing strategies, and corporate restructuring.

- Strategic Leadership: Partner with the Group CEO and Board of Directors to formulate and execute the group’s 3-to-5-year corporate blueprint, aligning financial strategy with business expansion and technological transformation.
- Commercial Performance Optimization: Drive gross margin enhancements across assembly and component manufacturing divisions by analyzing product line profitability, OEM pricing structures, and raw material cost variances.
- FP&A & Value Creation: Lead group-wide financial planning, rolling forecasts, and scenario modeling. Translate operational data into actionable insights to improve plant productivity, capacity utilization, and cost discipline.
2. Group Accounting, Consolidation & Bursa Malaysia Governance

- PLC Disclosures & Board Reporting: Lead the preparation of quarterly Bursa Malaysia announcements, annual audited financial statements, and Annual Integrated Reports. Present financial results and strategic updates to the Audit Committee and Board.
- Internal Governance & Risk: Oversee corporate risk management, internal control frameworks, and compliance with Bursa Malaysia Listing Requirements and Securities Commission guidelines.
3. Capital Structure, M&A & Corporate Finance
- Corporate Exercises & Expansion: Lead corporate finance initiatives, including joint ventures with international automotive partners, M&A deal executions, capital raisings, and divestments of non-core assets.
- CAPEX & Feasibility Reviews: Direct financial feasibility evaluations and investment appraisals for major capital expenditures, plant automation upgrades, and EV infrastructure rollouts.
- Investor Relations: Act as a primary spokesperson alongside the CEO to engage equity analysts, institutional investors, credit rating agencies, and investment bankers.
4. Plant Finance, Costing & Working Capital Management
- Plant Operations Controlling: Oversee manufacturing standard costing frameworks, inventory valuation (WIP, raw materials, finished goods), scrap reduction, and bill of materials (BOM) accuracy across assembly operations.
- Treasury & FX Management: Direct group treasury, cash flow forecasting, multi-currency credit facilities, and foreign exchange (FX) hedging strategies to protect margins against currency volatility.
- Tax Optimization: Manage tax planning strategies, transfer pricing structures, and statutory compliance (including IRBM e-Invoicing) across group subsidiaries.
5. Finance Transformation & Leadership
- Systems Digitalization: Drive finance transformation initiatives, optimizing ERP systems (e.g., SAP/Oracle) and automated dashboard tools to streamline the month-end closing process and enhance data visibility.
