About the Company
Our client is a well-established, public-listed (Bursa Malaysia) organisation with a strong footprint in the property industry. Known for their strategic growth and dynamic business initiatives, they are currently seeking a high-caliber Group Senior Finance Manager to spearhoot their group financial reporting, corporate finance activities, and strategic planning.
The Role
Working directly with the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and executive leadership, you will play a pivotal role in driving data-driven financial strategies, leading group consolidation, and supporting high-value business development and M&A initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
1. Strategic Financial Reporting & Compliance
Lead group financial reporting, cost management, and strategic analysis for presentation to executive management and major shareholders.
Oversee the monthly group consolidation and closing processes, ensuring strict compliance with regulatory and accounting standards.
Manage and ensure the absolute accuracy and timeliness of all Bursa Malaysia-related financial and corporate announcements (including quarterly results and investment disclosures).
Support the development of high-level Board presentations and strategic materials.
2. Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)
Partner closely with the Heads of Finance across the group to drive financial goal-setting and planning.
Develop, monitor, and optimize periodic and annual company budgets at the group level.
Direct quantitative modeling efforts to evaluate and quantify revenue-generating and efficiency-related initiatives.
3. Corporate Finance & Growth Initiatives
Develop data-driven investment theses, business cases, and concrete evaluation criteria for growth and efficiency initiatives.
Collaborate closely with the Business Development team to support acquisition target evaluations, financial due diligence, and post-merger integration.
Requirements & Qualifications
Experience: Minimum 7+ years of experience in Corporate Finance or Group Financial Reporting.
Industry Exposure: Experience within the Property/Real Estate industry OR a strong track record in preparing group consolidations for public-listed companies (Bursa Malaysia) is highly preferred.
Leadership: Minimum 4+ years of solid people management and leadership experience.
Analytical Mindset: Highly analytical, data-driven, and capable of distilling complex business issues into structured frameworks and concrete action plans.
Tech Savvy: Proficient in Microsoft Office (Advanced Excel and PowerPoint are essential).
